What are your favorite resources for new teachers?

Go TALK to your librarian to learn about resources at your school. He/she can help with far more than just books. They are information and technology experts (or should be). They are familiar with the content and curriculum of every class. They have contacts and flexibility to reach out to off-campus personnel.
ReplyDeleteLibrarians are trained to collaborate with teachers and support classroom instruction. Unfortunately, the other side of that coin is not promoted Teachers are rarely trained to reach out and collaborate.
All the educators I work with share with each other and that is something we all want to instill in other educators. We all need to work together.
DeleteOne benefit of teacher resources is that they help cultivate interest in the mind of the students. The developers of the teaching resources know this very well and that is why they make sure that they whatever resources lesson plan or idea that they release into the market is going to stimulate the interest of the students. Thanks a lot.
